Alfa pix - 3
Race cars, creative engine swaps, and more
The well prepared 1976 Spider of George Schweikle, aka: Conedriver on the BB.

Two shots of the lovely GTV of Clive Innes, who lives in England. Clive comes to SNO courtesy of
our friends at Alfaholics.

Uwe Reuter's fine 1972 GT 1300 Junior has been upgraded to a more potent 1600cc motor. Uwe lives near
Stuttgart,
Germany. His car was imported from Italy in the 1980's. Check out his really fine website here:
Sno-Bertone Blogspot.
Robert Bobardt's modified 1973 GTV 2000, which also lives in Germany, hits the corner
at speed.
Changes are found in the car's cylinder head, fuel pump, ignition, pistons,
suspension, exhaust,
seats, and front grill.
The 1974 GTV of Ed Prytherch. On the right, SNO meets snow. On the right: This is what Scott Potter's Alfa looks like on a
cold day
in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Left: Steve Smith, not to be confused with Steve Smith, runs his Giulia Sprint GT Jr. at Las Vegas International Speedway.
This one is known by SNO as SoCal Steve, because he lives in the lower half of California, while founding SNO member Steve Smith lives up north. Above right: This addition to the Richard Lane household got a new respray in the original plum (rosso something) and a rebuilt 1750 motor, all done by Richard.

Did you hear about the crazy guy who's putting a Honda S2000 engine in a 1971 GTV? Yep, he's a SNO member. And he's
crazy like a fox. He'll have 240 free-revving horsepower and one heck of a surprise for the unwary street-racer.

The pretty 1969 Spider Veloce of Michael Williams. Ken Dobson's '74 undergoing restoration.

On left is Norberto Bechini of Buenos Aires, with his 1993 Alfa 33 1.7 16V Sport. On right is the 1969 Spider of Bruce Sharer,
who's
from Raleigh, North Carolina.
What a lovely line-up of Oregonian Alfas! On the far right is the Spider of Bob & Gale Gordon.
Second from the right is Joe Kollman's Sprint Coupe, and hiding in the back, the Spider of Joe Cantrell.
If you own one of the other cars in the photo, let us know who you are and we'll be glad to list you.
Here's another shot of the Gordons' Spider, on an Oregon Alfa Club tour.

The '67 GTV of Bryan Biggers, of Saugus, California. It was inspired, he says, by the cars of two
fellow SNO members.
