Non Originale Fiats make us yearn
for sunny days and winding roads
Lee Putman's 1983 Fiat Spider is a treat to the eye. He writes: "Ive been changing little things here and there since I bought it in June of 2007, trying for a more 'vintage' look. It now has early-style vent windows that actually open, bullet style side mirrors on the front fenders, a dash-mounted interior mirror, a steering wheel from a ’79 Alfa Spider, a tapered stained shift knob from an earlier Spider, custom headlight eyebrows, silver blue 100th anniversary Fiat badges, and early style stainless steel windshield wiper arms."
Lee is founder and president of Chicagoland Fiat-Lancia Unlimited:

The four photos below show the immaculate Spider of Michigan's Mike Bouse. Mike is Secretary/Treasurer of the West Michigan
Chapter of Fiat-Lancia Unlimited.

This is the 1974 Fiat 124 of Mike Louviere, who lives in Iowa. He writes: "I have proudly owned ( I mean spent tons of money on..) this car since 1986."

Jacob Haagerup, who lives in
Denmark, sent a "teaser" of his 1975 Fiat 500 R that he says is largely original. "I did some restoration work on that car since it was rather banged up from growing up in Firenze and it now looks nice but not perfect, which happens to be how I like my old cars..." Alfisti will note Jacob's 1600 GT Jr. in the background.
