Felix Petrol admires our display of
Lancias
from the cabin of his Fulvia coupe

For those of you who don't know him, Felix Petrol is the creation of Guy Allen and is a regular feature in Octane Magazine (www.octane-magazine.com). The irresistibly charming Felix drives a wide range of cool cars, many of which can be seen on Guy's web site.

Andy Schor's Scorpion has
dual Webers with Alquati Intake, HC Pistons, Cams, Header, Euro Bumpers, quad
headlights, Momo road wheels, and several other "deviations from
stock!" We're shocked! ... And pleased.

Here's the motor that Andy's been playing with.

Ed Levin's 1970 Lancia Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.6HF
looks ready for its next high speed event. Ed says the
color is non originale and it has a number of non-original mods, "though virtually all of them are period-correct."
The big driving lights led to these rare and highly desirable cars being nicknamed "Fanalones," or big eyes.

"It's a great car for road tours and rallies. It's a blast to drive: nimble, responsive, and revvy. It requires involvement and concentration; 87 bhp from 1300ccs in a car weighing in at 2000 lbs. means lapses in focus (in particular: laziness in shifting) are penalized. Put another way: it encourages and rewards verve. But it's still comfortable and reliable enough so that 800+ mile events like the California Melee don't lead to disability claims or missing persons reports."
Below left: Those grippy seats look awfully nice too.
